Primary Election – May 19, 2026

Kentucky has closed primaries. You can only vote in the primary election for candidates of your party affiliation as of December 31, 2025. If you had selected “other” as your party affiliation, you are eligible to vote only for nonpartisan offices in any primary election. In general or special elections, you may vote for any candidate.

If you are not registered to vote, you have until April 20, 2026 to do so to vote in the primary election. Check the following link to see if you are registered to vote and register online if not.
